Wimozee Technology took a high-street unit on Woodfield Street, Morriston. They needed it shop-ready before opening day. Electrics, joinery and commercial decorating all had to happen on top of one another. Stock was arriving on a fixed date.

The unit, and what was needed
A solid unit, but not yet retail-ready
Structurally sound, but not ready to trade. Water ingress in one corner. Staining to put right. Electrics needed bringing up to retail standard before fit-out could start.
Wimozee’s original plan was to hire each trade separately. With an opening date already on the calendar, sourcing and scheduling three teams is a full-time job in itself. They handed the whole scope to Daffodil Decor instead.
How it came together
One managed diary across all three runs
Three back-to-back runs on one diary. Each trade started the day the last one finished. No dead days on site. One weekly update to the client. The job landed inside the promised window.
What we did: summary
Electrics: 3 days
Fuse box rewiring to bring the unit up to retail spec. Wiring for the internal and external security and motion cameras the shop needed from day one. Done first so the carpentry and decorating could go on top of a finished electrical first-fix.
Carpentry: 7 days
The bulk of the shop fit. A frame built and installed to carry the inventory racking. Pipework boxed in so nothing trade-looking showed. Skirting re-positioned for the new layout. Display boards cut to size. Fixtures fitted end-to-end.
Decorating: 5 days
Front, full interior, back office, toilet, kitchen. Every surface in brand colours. Black to frame the displays. Luminous green on the feature walls. The signage team worked alongside, installing the box sign as the interior decorating finished.
